"Complexity / Simplicity" details several years in the life of Jeff Tripp, an entrepreneur with a predilection for infatuations involving women that he knows little or nothing about. The object of one such attraction, Sam Warren, enters into relationships with both Jeff and his wife Gail. The situation increases in complexity until drastic actions are taken by Sam and Gail to restore simplicity.
